The Telugu New Year,the first and foremost festival celebrated by telugu people.A special dish is prepared by these people this day in which all the tastes will be included.Usually all these tastes together they say it as "shadruchulu" which means shad=6 ruchulu=tastes.The day is started with wearing new clothes and visiting temple and taking blessings from parents and big.Then they take the special dish made up of tamarind juice,jaggery,neem flower,coconut,banana,dry mango etc..very tasty,hmmm yummy dish.The ingredients differ at times.
My favourite dish.One special reason to prepare this dish is that life consists of all the tastes like bitter,sweet,sour etc..Excluding this dish they make other dishes like "paravanam","pulihora".
We at home enjoy a lot .We try doing all good things that day so that the total year will be good.
