Six Seasons In India

  • In India, and in the Hindu Calender, there are six seasons or Ritu are Hemant (pre-winter), Shishira (Winter), Basant (Spring), Grishma (Summer), Varsha (Rainy) and Sharad (Autumn).-(ref from wikipedia)
  • The picture above depicts the changes in the seasons.A season is a division of the year, marked by changes in weather.
  • The changes of weather occurs due to the rotation of the Earth around the Sun.
  • The Heat of the Sun will reflect the area exposed by the earth so in this fashion which portion of the earth is nearby the sun will have more heat when compared to other side of the earth.
  • The mankind have to go through these seasons, i mean they have to feel the atmospheric changes.
  • The Summer is the season where the heat of the sun will be the highest and the winter is the lowest.

The summer season falls in the month of March and ends in the mid of June.In these days the days will be longer when compared to nights. The hottest place in India is Ramagundam where the temperature reaches up to 48 to 49.

Few tips of how to beat the heat in summer-

To make these days cooler take a lots of liquid foods. The top 5 liquids to beat the heat this summer are Lemon Juices,Coconut water,Fresh fruit juices,Water,Fanta (cool drink).

Don't forget to apply sunscreen lotion before leaving your home.Use light colored cotton clothes, use umbrellas/caps to protect yourself from sun.Try to avoid going out in the hot sun instead go in the evening timings.I know it sounds difficult but trying is not wrong. If you are too much exposed to sun you lose the glucose in your body and you may get sun strokes.....so be very careful in summer seasons.

This season is famous for summer camps where all the little kids learn new and existing creative works. All the schools children will be given summer holidays after their final examinations,so in these holidays they go to other places or will go for summer camps.Enjoy the summer holidays kids.Happy holidays.

Be cool and stay cooooooool this summer by implementing the above suggestions if possible.

HAPPY SUMMER SEASON.....
